Yes. Choose DMC60 output to export a self-contained .dmcpgm program with its samples embedded. Place the file in DMC60’s Programs folder, then open it from the program browser. MPC XPM and XTD export and Ableton Drum Racks are also included.

XPM programs work with MPC One, Live, X and XL, plus MPC 2 and 3 desktop software. XTD tracks require MPC OS 3 and have been tested on Live III and XL. MPCe expression additionally requires compatible expressive pads.

Your download and license key arrive by email. Click Unlock in the app and enter your email and key. One license activates up to 3 Macs. For a missing email, check spam or contact support@dordsp.com.

It matches whole words in file and folder names against 20 sound categories. Ambiguous samples are marked unknown.

No. Exported kits contain copies of your samples. Originals are never moved, renamed or rewritten.

The same folder, settings and seed recreate the same selection. Change the seed or use Shuffle picks for another kit.

There is no exclude-by-name option yet. Keep loops and other unwanted files outside the folder you scan, since Kit Pro includes all WAV, AIFF and FLAC files in its subfolders. Classifying loops as melodic is only a partial workaround: they can still fill a pad when no other sample is available.

The template supplies pad tuning, filters, envelopes and program settings. Kit Pro keeps those settings and replaces the samples, velocity ranges and mute groups. Use the included MPC 2.15 template, or choose a drum program exported from your own MPC. Templates apply only to XPM output.

Choose XPM for an MPC drum program, XTD for an MPC 3 track or MPCe expression, DMCPGM for DMC60, ADG for an Ableton Live Drum Rack, or ABLPRESETBUNDLE for Ableton Move and Note. MPC and Live exports include a folder of samples; DMC60 programs and Move / Note bundles keep their samples inside one file.

Yes. Choose .adg to export an Ableton Live Drum Rack: one Simpler per pad on MIDI notes 36 to 51, with mute groups carried over as choke groups. It requires Live 12.4.5 or later. Open the .adg on a MIDI track and keep its Samples folder beside it when you move the kit. Velocity layers, MPCe expression and XPM templates do not apply to Drum Racks.

Yes, as an experimental option. Choose .ablpresetbundle to export one file with all 16 samples inside, then upload it in Move Manager under Presets or open it in Ableton Note on iOS. Import on Move hardware and Note is still being verified, so contact support@dordsp.com if a bundle does not load.

MPCe responds to where you strike compatible expressive pads. It needs XTD output and MPCe-capable hardware. Zones, Blend and Spread distribute samples across a pad; Filter and Repeats add expression controls. Leave it Off for ordinary velocity layers.

This optional file adds sample naming rules, custom pad layouts and a default layout. Place it in the root of your sample folder, then scan again. Rules contain a category, phrase and weight, and extend the built-in rules unless extendDefaultRules is turned off. The command-line tool also accepts the file with --config.

Open Manage Layouts, click New layout and set Pad assignment to Fixed. Select a pad to choose its preferred sound type, alternative types and mute group. Built-in presets can be duplicated and edited. Layouts can also be defined in dordsp-kit-pro.config.json with an id, name and list of pads, where omitted pads stay empty.
