DMC60 Manual
DMC60 is a 12-bit drum machine & sampler and standalone app for macOS and Windows. It turns folders of samples into playable kits, stretches any sample chromatically, and sequences everything with hardware-style swing through a 12-bit lo-fi engine.
Audio Engine
12-bit quantization, 26.04 kHz sample rate, SSM2044 filter emulation, and 8-voice polyphony.
Sampler
16 pads, 8 banks, live input sampling, per-sample tuning, ADSR, filter, drive, tempo warp, and mute groups.
Programs
Create kits from folders automatically. Batch convert entire sample libraries.
Chopping
Live chop, transient detection, record-to-grid auto-clips, zero-crossing snap, and slice-to-pad mapping across all 8 banks.
Keygroup Synth
Turn any pad into a synth: 3 morphing oscillators, dual ladder filters, and a 16-slot mod matrix.
Sequencer
99 patterns, 96 PPQN resolution, MPC/Linn/SP1200 swing, and per-pattern mixer states.
Song Mode
Chain patterns into arrangements with tempo changes, mix snapshots, and sections.
Effects
Per-track EQ and compression, send buses with reverb and tempo-synced delay.
Mixer
16 DAW-style channel strips with faders, pan, sends, and a master section.
MIDI
Controller mapping, CC assignments, hot-plug detection, and velocity sensitivity.
Sync
Ableton Link tempo, beat, and phase sync across apps and devices, plus Host Sync to the DAW transport.
Export
Bounce patterns and songs to WAV with configurable sample rate and bit depth.
Appearance
System, Dark, and Light chrome with live switching, plus an independent LCD display color.
Quick Start
- 1.Load a program — Use the preset browser or drag a folder onto the pads to create a kit instantly.
- 2.Play the pads — Trigger samples with your MIDI controller, mouse, or QWERTY keyboard.
- 3.Record a pattern — Hit record, play your beat, and loop it. Quantize or leave it loose.
- 4.Shape the sound — Adjust per-sample pitch, filter, drive, and envelope. Add swing to taste.
- 5.Export — Bounce your pattern or full song to WAV when ready.
